We have already featured this MX5 before with its awesome flip paint effect and stunning bodykit. Today we get to take a peek below the bonnet. The engine has been impressively detailed. Plenty of chrome parts have been added and the hoses have been replaced with blue silicone hoses. The first step in any engine styling project has to be cleaning the engine.
When this has been accomplished you can ascertain the state of the metal surfaces. Some can be polished or chromed, and we would also recommend a laquer coating. (Please only use a heat resistant lacquer or it will discolour.) Many covers and parts are available in a chrome finish so you can often buy off the shelf parts rather than having to do all of the hard work yourself.
