Another popular style of light conversion involves lights made from a cluster of small bright LEDs. Various styles are available from smoked lenses to clear lenses.

The LEDs are long life, efficient and look good although not enough light can be produced yet for LED headlights although LED sidelights are becoming mainstream as pioneered by Audi. This Peugeot 206CC has a smoked rear light which pretty much obscures the bulbs until they come on.
