Most people think that powerfull speakers belong in the boot of the car, this Toyota owner has decided to fit his woofer into the engine bay.
I’m not sure if this is very practical but you have really got to hand it to this guy for initiative. He quite literally has a hot ICE install. I’m hoping that the main heat from the engine is shielded from the speaker.Like this site? Bookmark it & spread the word:

The car appears to be an MR2, in which case there is no engine under the bonnet (mid-rear design). Given this scenario, placing the sub under the bonnet isn’t such a bad idea.
Although there won’t be so much bass in the cabin, everyone on the street will be able to hear it! Which is the point, I suppose…

The engines in the back (well ‘middle’ actually)
So the front bonnets a boot in effect… good idea seems the mr2 has naff all cabin space- certaintly not enough for a full subwoofer setup (so use the bonnet!!)
