Flame effect paint on cars has been around pretty much as long as there have been customised cars. Rarely do we see realistic flames, with many going for solid yellow or orange flame effects in a tribal tatoo style. This flame surfacing is very realistic and having a chrome background does help to lift the paint and makes it positively glow in the sunlight.

Sadly a photograph doesn’t do it Justice. The paint effect here was done by Kaos at Custom Shack in Kent. Chrome is a specialist only paint finish, if you are interested in chrome paint then we suggest you read this chrome paint for cars article.
