A beautiful car in its own right the Ferrari 250 GTO lines remain timeless and stunning even today over 40 years after production. It was designed to compete as a GT racer and won in 1962,63 and 64. (The 330 GTO has a larger four litre engine and a large bonnet hump.There are 3 covered openings on the bonnet above the grill which we presume act as an air inlet at speed. Timeless features for inspiration include the generous use of chrome, the signiture Ferrari Red and a white spot on the bonnet. Interestingly there were very few of these cars (around 36) ever made (despite FIA regs requiring 100 road going cars) and it is a real treat to find one in such concourse condition today.
