The Gumpert Apollo is a pretty special v8 powered road legal supercar and has undergone extensive development. The Apollo shows the pinnacle of supercar development. Every curve is there for an aero dynamic reason. Here is a photo of the Apollo taken way back in 2005.

Car tuning and styling

This was one of the early models and the body has been specially developed and shaped to generate the maximum downforce. The Mid engine breathes via an F1 style intake on the roof. Later models had vents over the arches but is largely similar to this in shape. The headlights give a mean and moody look and look stunning with a slightly smoked lense. The Apollo went round the Top Gear test track at 1:17.1 putting it squarely at the top.
