Bonnet vents are a vital addition to many modern cars. They keep under bonnet temperatures down, allow intercoolers to work or allow fresh clean air into the engine intake. There is often a big question over how best to finish it off.
Many add vents of some description with Chrome mesh or painted mesh being the most popular options. This bonnet has 2 mesh layers, as detailed in the rear view photo below. The chrome finish looks best against dark colours and those with light paintwork tend to use darker mesh as a contrast.
