Skyline intake trumpets in Pink. Ok so we admit that pink is not the greatest colour and the intakes in most cars are usually covered with an air filter but for shows and serious track day use you can’t beat a pair of nice intake trumpets. It’s the little touches like this that make a car feel wanted and appreciated. As this is a twin turbo setup there are 2 separate intakes although it would be possible to duct a couple of intakes to a single turbo.
You can also make out he braided hoses which are much tougher than standard rubber or silicone hoses and they add a touch of class to the engine bay. These are a HKS set up with internal airfilters and the “Trumpets” are a way of being able to force more “Raw” air into the turbo’s, this causes the engine to run at a richer air-to-fuel ratio causing more power to be created through the drive wheels.
