Rear spoilers are one of the most popular body modifications done to a car. Sadly though little thought is given to the aerodynamic aspects of spoiler setup and design.

The photograph show a rear spoiler which has a fully adjustable aerofoil on the rear.

Car tuning

This allows the driver to set the spoiler up to his car and decide how much downforce/drag he wishes to introduce. On car adjustments are easy to perform, in this case as simple as undoing a couple of bolts.

The rear spoiler has been colour coded and includes an integrated rear high level brake light.
