Many aftermarket brake calipers come in bright strong colours. Rather than pay out for new heavy duty calipers many owners decide to paint their own.

Car tuning and styling

Providing you use a suitable high temperature paint you should fare well with this. The key is cleaning them up and preparing the surface.

Genuine performance calipers thought tend to come marked with the makers logo so a closer inspection will usually reveal the amount of money really invested in the car. Interestingly when calipers are painted they are much easier to keep clean.
