Carbon fibre has 2 benefits – it looks very cool and it is lightweight and strong. This carbon fibre bonnet is absolutely covered with vents which have had a wire mesh added. The wire mesh gives the car a sporty look but also prevents debris from getting into the engine bay.

Car tuning

Most carbon fibre bonnets are bolt on replacements although in some cases, particularly with cheaper kits you will need to cut/drill the areas for the catches and hinges to go. The bonnet vents will help to keep the engine bay cool and give an additional performance benefit over and above the weight saving.
