Vented Ford Mustang carbon fibre bonnet.

So you though the mustang was already mean and sporty looking? We found this example of a Ford Mustang with a carbon fibre bonnet.

As you already know, carbon fibre is stronger than steel and substantially lighter so it makes an excellent material for car body panels. The draw back is the high cost. Recently the demand for carbon fibre bonnets and carbon fibre wings and body parts has rocketed, leading the price to go high. Cheap carbon fibre often has imperfections in the surface from bubbles in the laquer cote to splodges of discolouration and imperfections in the decorative top layer weave.

Vents further help the Mustangs powerful engine to keep its cool, mesh behind the vents help to keep the junk from the engine bay and more importantly the air intake.
