We usually look at cutting edge styling but for the next few days we will look back at the very early days of car design and see some vintage cars. Panels were typically beaten by hand which restricted the shapes on offer to a large degree.

Car tuning

Early vintage cars has mud guards over the wheels which later became wings and were shaped into the rest of the car. This car certainly wouldn’t win any NCAP ratings. The large lamps were fairly weak and due to the low power light output glowed yellow. You can also make out the cooling vents in the wing, a feature that is still in use today to help cool the cars engine bay.
