Now Jaguar could always make a good looking car. Not only that but they could make a car that really shifts. This E Type is a very desirable model of early Jaguar and there are still plenty of concours models around (compared to other cars of this age). The D Type with it’s huge rear vertical wing running from front to rear was not to everyones taste but the E Type was a revolution in car design and we still see the long bonnet shape in modern Jaguars today.

We like th wire wheels with wing nuts and the cobra esque front grille. Even the large bulge in the bonnet hints at the power on offer. It is also nice to see subtle use of chrome making the e type Jaguar ahead of it’s time. The grill badge and light styling are still used today on the new XFR.
