
Shark gill style side vents on a Gold Rover 200. The car is fitted with a full bodykit and the bonnet has also had vents added.The side vents were popularised by BMW in the Z8 roadster and have been gaining popularity since.
The above example on the Rover 200 had a hole cut in the wing and a plastic panel with the vetns vitted. Althought it has been colourcoded to match the cars paint it would look equally good in black or another contrasting colour. The bonnet has been fitted with vents also – the aim was to lower the under bonnet temperatuere. A nice set of alloy wheels and low profile tyres set the car of nicely.
