Further to yesterdays post of the Ford Mondeo with full bodykit we have included a detail shot showing the vents on the bonnet.

The angle of this photo amplifies the curves in this bonnet as the light catches the details.

The vents will help to dissipate some of the under bonnet temperatures but in this case is more for form than function. The opening of the vent is covered in mesh to protect the engine. With a bonnet of this style you need to be careful that rain does not get into vital engine components. The central ridge in the bonnet will allow a larger engine to be fitted.
