KTM are known for making stunning motorbikes. When they decided to move into cars we knew to expect something special. The X-Bow is covered with panels and carbon fibre and weighs in at under 800 kilos. It reaches 60mph in 3.9 seconds and is very much a street legal race car. Perfectly packaged with its low weight and powerful Audi derived 240hp engine it delivers a stunning power to weight ratio that compares well with a sports motorbike. Many have cited the X-Bow as being the nearest 4 wheels will ever get to motorbiking heaven.
The lack of a windscreen completes the motorcycling sensation – just don’t open your mouth when your driving it unless you have a full face crash helmet on!
From the from the X-Bow looks menacing and you can be sure that every single vent and panel shape has been designed for a practical reason. The nearest competitor to the X-Bow has to be the Ariel Atom and we would love to see the two models going head to head on a track.
